Yeap, it's me. To be honest it's been long since i actually logged into my blogging account.

On a hiatus eh?

Well, this is going to be a rather short post and i'm confident that it'll be the last post for this blog.

Awhile ago, I was scrolling through my old blog posts and i realised how lame i was couple of months back. Especially the first time i started blogging. Even the URL says it all. Haha. The trademarks and stuff. Rather embarrassing to admit that that was me back then. Heh.

Well, things have changed since then i guess.

Why quit blogging, some of you might ask me.

The answer is pretty simple : I lost my blogging mojo.

I simply don't have the urge to sit down and type my thoughts out.

That is why i prefer facebook and twitter :)

I've seen many who quitted blogging too for certain reasons.

I guess i'm choosing the similar path.

And I don't think i'll be deleting this blog. The reason is I want to preserve the memories that i typed out over the past 2 years. Especially with those pictures. Pictures do tell a thousand words.

Somewhere in the future when i finally surf this page again, I will have the chance to read whatever I have typed out and have a good laugh at myself back then. Haha, good memories I must say.

With this, I nevertheless thank my readers for taking the effort to read.

Biases and prejudices ™

Hey readers (:

Here I am with other blog post.

Often we see people receiving the best treatment from someone while others just don't seem to get the opportunity to experience such good treatment. Sometimes they ask themselves why? Is it because of their looks? gender? height? ability? age? or even is it because of their race? Now, this is what we mean by biases.

In fact biases are happening at almost everywhere, every time and everyday. For example, a simple bias that happens is when a boss delegates the job only to a person that he has high hopes on or simply because they have a good relationship outside of work. What about other people? Do they even have the chance to prove their worth? In the end, upon being neglected far too many times, slacking will be the alternative way that many of them then choose to adopt as a bad habit.

Is this what we want to see in our community? Often we hear of our community being left behind and not progressing. Who knows? The person that has been neglected due to biases or personal reasons might be the future leader to bring our community up.

Prejudices, similarly like bias cases are also another problem that we face. A person who is very capable can be overlooked easily just because of a simple mistake that he or she has done to agitate their superiors. It is of no doubt that prejudices can control the emotion of a person to make decisions beyond rational reasons.

Likewise, it is impossible for a person not to have any prejudices or biases towards other people.

It has become part and parcel of our daily life. In other words, being biased or having prejudices towards other people could be just a way of showing yourself of being self-centred.

Biases and prejudices are often related to the opposite of justice and honesty. Although we are aware that by culturing such habit is definitely a bad thing, most of us are ignorant. To no avail, people are still practising biases in our society.

Everything happens for a reason. That was what I learned over the past few days.

But make sure that the reason behind our actions are logic reasons and not anyhow related to being bias or having prejudices. We may deceive others but we can't lie to ourselves.

Control our bias thoughts. That is one the way to change for the better and also to create a fair fight. You wouldn't want to face the arguments and complaints from others as a consequent to your unfair actions, would you?

Sorry for the long hiatus.

Yeah, if you have read my previous post, I actually got someone to blog for me.

To make it look as if this blog wasn't dead.

To be honest, I was this close to give up blogging.

Till I read Daniel Fong's blog.
Well, let's just say that his blog was also dead before this.

He took the initiative to revive it and now, it's back as usual.

So, this post is basically here because I was motivated by Daniel's posts.

Short yet meaningful.

And based on his recent post about alcohol, here is my point of view.

In our form 5 chapter 2 for Chemistry, we have learned that alcohol is an organic substance that has the general formula of C_nH_2n+1OH, with n starting from 1, 2, 3, ...etc.

It has the hydroxyl functional group (OH) which is bounded to a carbon atom.
This is what distinguishes it from other homologous series.

Well, we have our common alcohol, known as ethanol which is found in liquors.

And it is a fact that people just love to drink alcohol in this modern era.

Alcohol to certain people is like honey is to bee. It has become part and parcel of their life.

See the necessity?

Some drink alcohol for the sake of drinking while some drink it as a way to forget their problems.

See, the wonder about alcohol is that upon excess consumption, you will find yourself in a state whereby you are not aware of what you are doing, in other words DRUNK.

Excess alcohol in the body will then affect the nervous system to cause one to be intoxicated.

Personally, I haven't been in that state before so I can't give much opinion on it.

Nowadays, teenagers take drinking as their habit. Worse thing of all is that their parents are the ones behind the scenes encouraging them to culture it as a bad habit.

The big question is why?
Well, maybe a few sips once in a while may be considered okay.

But imagine drinking it everday.

It is like planting a time bomb in one's body.

We have our whole life ahead of us, so why must we start rushing to learn how to drink at this age?

17 years old is still counted very much young compared to those above 20.

Don't mind me, it's just part of my opinion as someone who doesn't believe in drinking alcohol just YET.

As the saying goes, one man's meat is another man's poison.

Otherwise, drinking too much might cause yourself to just forget who you are and do things that is out of this world.

Bak kata pepatah, "sesal dahulu pendapatan, sesal kemudian tidak berguna"

What I'm trying to say is do it moderately.
And live life as it comes.

Rushing things early does not make you any older.

Once again, sorry if this post has offended any of you.

Job Well Done ™

Hey readers!

Wow, after almost a month of hiatus, here I am again with my first post for the month of March.

5th March 2010.

The day where history was written.

It was only back in the 2nd week of January where the new board of directors were voted and chosen by the members of each respective houses.

Though, the memory is still clear and vivid in my head.

The new AJK's of each houses vowed to try bringing the best with hopes of repeating the success of last year's or perhaps even making it better.

Fortunately, I was entrusted and given the golden opportunity to be elected as president of Yellow House.

It was the beginning of a whole lot of responsibility for me by then.

Zakirah then was chosen to lead Blue House, Choong Yean for Green House and Sheng Hao as the head of Red House.

We worked hand in hand with each other and of course with our respectives AJK's for our first hurdle, which was the so called Cross-country event otherwise known as "Merentas Desa".

I still remembered the times when we had to cut hundreds of pieces of plastic that were given to us. Plus, we had to write the numbers of each participant on those pieces of plastic.

Even giving out those plastic pieces wasn't an easy job.

Although so, we managed to play our part in making the event to look good only to hear that the points accumulated for that event was not to be taken in account which leaves each house to have the same amount of points.

Maybe it was a blessing in disguise?

The Cross-country event was long over before we know that house practice has already begun in February.

The initial part of the house practices was a headache to the respective house leaders because the attendance for each house was indeed disappointing.

Even we had to go up on stage to give a motivational talk to the members to gain their commitment towards each house.

Then "sukantara" came immediately after Chinese New Year.

Unfortunately for my house, there was some controversies that happened during the practice.

But then I learned, what's the use complaining if nothing can be done?

Meanwhile we could see each house members working very hard in the field of marching, decoration and cheerleading.

Marching squads really show their commitment in training by coming back to school even it was a school holiday. And so was the cheerleading and decoration teams.

Finally the first week of March marks the crucial week for us.

Qualifying rounds were going on every day after school for each track events so much so that some athletes had to endure the scorching hot sun as well as their fatigue.

And came 5th March 2010, the final day for the sport events.

It was the long waited Sports Day for the 7th time in our school.

The preparation for that big day was indeed immense.

The house leaders were stressed up making sure that everything was in order and ready for that day. So were the members of marching, cheerleading and decoration team.

Try imagining the night before Sports Day.

On that day, the atmosphere of 5 am in the morning in the school didn't look like it was supposed to be.

There were already members of respective houses in school preparing themselves for the big day.

The decoration team of each house especially had to go there early to decorate the tents with their weeks of hard work decoration items.

Marching teams called in as early as 5.30 am to have a last minute practice to ensure that things would go smoothly later.

And the cheerleaders came early also to put on their make up as part of their early preparation.

7.00 am came and each house leader was already readily dressed with their extravagant outfits.

So were the marching members and the mascots.

All were mentally and physically ready for the main event of the day which was the march-past event.

It was obviously a do or die event for each house as the marks gained from there would definitely be a difference.

Then we could see each house pulled off wonderful performances in terms of their formation as well as their cheer.

And at the end of the day, the most anticipated prize giving ceremony came about.

Of course, tension, anxiety and stress filled the atmosphere by then as all hoped that their house would win.

The end result was as follow -

Best cheerleading - Green house
Best tent decoration - Blue house
Best marching and formation - Yellow house

Best male athlete (L1 category) - Sivanesan (Yellow)
Best female athlete (P1 category) - Renuka (Red)
Best male athlete (L2 category) - Kamarul (Blue)
Best female athlete (P2 category) - Shirlyn (Green)
Best male athlete (overall) - Sivanesan (Yellow)
Best female athlete (overall) - Renuka (Red)

1st placing - Blue house
2nd placing - Yellow house
3rd placing - Green house
4th placing - Red house

Talk about the anxiety that each house leader has been through.

At the end of day, it was not the result that matter.

It was the experience of working together to be cherished.

After almost 3 months of hard work, it all finally came to an end on that day.
Satisfaction was gained because everyone tried their best.

Congratulations to ALL.

It was your support that managed to push us further in front.

Indeed, job is well done.
Most importantly, thank you (:

Hey readers!

Once again, Happy Chinese New Year to all.

Currently, it's the third day of CNY.

How did you spend this festive season?

Went over to my aunt's house at BU7 for our annual reunion dinner with relatives from my father's side on the eve of Chinese New Year.

Carried out the tradition whereby we served tea to the elders and got our angpaus.

Pretty much the same every year.

Well, I just got back from Ipoh an hour ago.

The jam during the journey was horrendous.

Cars which are supposed to travel at approximately 110km/h had no choice but to "crawl" on the highway.

Ended up, the usual 2 hour journey to Ipoh had become a 3 hour journey.

Dinner last night was an eight course meal at some Chinese Restaurant.

Then again, I don't really favour course meals because the food that they serve are pretty much the same.

The usual rice and dishes still is the best (Y).

Met up with cousins after dinner and started our annual Chinese New Year activity.

*if you know what I mean* ;)

Family and relatives.

Coming to think of it, isn't good that cars and highways are invented for us?

It's a wonder that car is able to run on fuel and this makes transportation wise much more easier for us.

Imagine without cars around, how are we even going to define the term "balik kampung?" :0

It'll take us 12904187847120370128309 days to reach by walking!

But the sad part is, any tom dick and harry has a car now =/

Sometimes I even wonder how do we still have so much petroleum left.

This is what you think of when you sit in the car having nothing to do but to stare outside the window at the number of cars passing by.

Random thoughts! :D

First and foremost, sorry for not updating this blog since the end of last month.

The thing is, every time I enter this blog, I have inspirations to write a simple post.

However, as I log in, *poof*, and there it goes, I lost my urge to blog.

Dear February, your days have passed really fast.

Coming to think of it, half the month has already passed.

Is it me, or is it the month is too short? =/

Nevertheless, this month is an important month to all Chinese people in the world.

Why?

14th February marks the start of a new year for us, Chinese.

And that day is tomorrow, which makes today the eve of Chinese New Year.

To me, I treat this festival as a great opportunity to rest and relax.

Of course the joy of receiving angpau and meeting up with relatives is to be enjoyed during this festival, but it's just another holiday to me.

Maybe it's because of the stress that I'm going through?

Nonetheless, I'm still glad that Chinese New Year has come at the right time (:

Wow, it's been two weeks since i logged into this blog to update.

Well, what can I say, my daily routine is always that busy.

Plus, the preparation for the cross-country event last Friday took so much up of my time.

Trust me, if today wasn't the last day of the month, I probably would not have been inspired to blog.

January, the first month of the year is about to pass in just a few more hours.

Come February, the second month.

Which means, Chinese New Year is around the corner.

CNY mood anyone? ;)

Okay, so the cross-country event for my school has already passed.

Being the Yellow House captain, I would like to say thank you to all that participated to contribute points for the house.

And of course, congratulations to those who managed to be in the top 20!

Keep this fighting spirit of yours and maintain it for sports day.

Entering the 3rd week of school at this moment with tonnes of things in my mind.

I'm just doing a very short post as so to not make my blog look dead.

So,

Here's a thing that I realised these few days.

You either comply, or you concede just like that.

A simple statement to prove many situations.

Nevertheless, here's another post for the month.

Gosh, at the rate this is going, looks like I will only post once per week.

We'll see. =/

The first week of school has passed rather fast to me.

Although school finishes at 2.30 pm on Mondays to Wednesdays, 5 days last week had passed.

Trust me, the upcoming week will be the same.

Oh yea and talking about the school finishing time.

I have no idea why school finishes at 2.30 pm without any additional subject included.

So now one period is 40 minutes and is rather long to be honest.

Pity our stomachs!

By the time we finish school, we're dead tired and only get to eat lunch by 3 plus after going back. Oh man.

What more when house activities starts? >.<

Oh well, I guess we all have to endure it for the sake of our education. (:

I'm currently addicted to this song called belle of the boulevard by Dashboard Confessional.

At first when listening to the intro of the song, I thought it was an acoustic version of Honor Society's "where are you now".

The intro of both songs are definitely similar.

Nonetheless, good song. :D

You all should listen to it.

And thanks to the heavy snow in UK, almost 6-7 football matches were called off.

A weekend with only 3 football matches. T_T

Not to mention that both Manchester United's and Arsenal's matches ended in a draw.

I was looking forward to Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspurs match but unfortunately it got postponed too.

Never mind though, go KOP! :D

Busy week up ahead.

This will be my first post of the month and year.

So it's 2010.

How's your new year?

I'm sure that I ushered my new year with awesome views of fireworks nearby my housing area.

Another 2 more months and that will mark a second anniversary for my blog.

I'm surprised that I can keep my blog on going till now.

But my number of posts are decreasing =0

So, school will be starting tomorrow.

As usual, I'm happy and glad that there's finally school although I felt that these holidays are quite short in relative to other years.

This will be my fifth and final year of high school and trust me, it'll end fast. Oh mann.

I'm going to enjoy it :D

The starting of school means starting of tuitions for me.

So, I expect myself to be back to my busy self.

Not forgetting the co-curriculum activities.

Oh well, no more playing computer that much already as I did during the holidays.

It's time to get serious. (:

I'll try to update whenever I am free and feel like doing it.

Oh, and

A decade ™

Hey readers! (:

This is it.

The last day of the year.

The final moments of 2009.

Coming to think of it, this year is fast coming to an end.

Just like other years, we seem to say that each year rocketed pass in a blink of an eye.

Well, 8 years have already past since a millennium.

By the stroke of midnight, 9 years to be exact have gone by.

We are now going to enter 2010, a decade of revolution.

This year is truly a memorable year for me.

I have gone through many events that gain me experiences.

Met many people who gave me good advices.

Saw many things.

Few of the memorable events that occured were :

-Being part of the Yellow House committee to bring home the trophy during sports day.

-Being able to plan the prefects' dinner with the much needed help from my committee.

-Being elected as assistant head prefect.

-Being given an awesome surprise by my fellow friends on my birthday.

-Being able to teach my marching members.

-Being at Pangkor camp to enjoy the fun.

-Being able to experience a different perspective in New Zealand.

Well, that sums up my story of the year.

So,

Eye - Opener ™

Hey readers!

Yes, I am already back from New Zealand.

In fact I came back on Sunday morning just before noon.

The only reason why I am putting up a late

post is because I had some food poisoning the other day.

Gosh, it was torturing.

Glad that I feel much better right now.

How was the trip?

Well, it was enjoyable.er there.

New Zealand, being summer at this time, is very much colder than I expected, especially at the southern island part.

But one thing for sure is I didn't enjoy the weath

The chilly wind there was to be enjoyed but somehow it made my lips crack.

The scenery there was breathtaking though.

Crystal-clear waters, clear skies with blue clouds, and the green fields were just amazing to be seen.

Come to think of it, I spent a lot of time on the bus taking tour round the city

Good time to fall asleep I guess? Heh.

I'll be just doing a short update for now.

Well, I'm leaving for New Zealand tomorrow for 8 days.

Although so, somehow I don't feel like heading there for certain reasons.

4 hours transit in Singapore ?! Holy moly.

Hopefully there turns out to be a better place than I expected.

Next, congratulations to our Malaysian football team!

They pulled of with an aplomb performance in the final match held earlier in conjuction with the SEA games.

A 1-0 win over Vietnam was a wonderful achievement for our national side as we won the trophy after years of waiting.

Suddenly the patriotism spirit is strong again inside of me.

Their never-say-die spirit is definitely something to be proud of. :D

By the way, I was browsing through Facebook yesterday and I found something cool.

Heard of the song fireflies by Owl City?

Yeah, some hip hop group named Ahmir did an awesome cover of it.

Seriously superb.

I used to be crazy of that song but now I guess I won't be bored of it anymore.

My daily routine throughout my holidays are pretty much the same I guess.

Wake up in the morning then I'll find things to eat before sitting in front of the computer for hours.

And did I mention, I got hooked to DotA since there are no other things better to do on the computer.

Oh dear, oh dear. I better cut the addiction =/

Hey readers! (:

Just realizing that there are roughly 19 more days to the end of the year, which brings a start to a whole new year.

Coming to think of it, time really flies, eh?

Hopefully somewhere during this month, I'll have time to do a recap on the activities and highlights throughout this memorable year.

I've downloaded We The Kings new album "Smile Kid" the other day and I've got to rate it quite highly.

The featured songs such as "heaven can wait" and "she takes me high" are indeed worth listening as the tune is simply wonderful. Not to mention the acoustic versions of them too.

Also since I had nothing to do on the computer, I managed to finish watching Big Bang Theory season 1 that Wen Yew gave it to me.

Rather enjoyable to watch since the jokes in the sitcom are hilarious.

Waiting to get season 2 :D

Football matches held yesterday in England produced rather shocking results. Firstly we saw Chelsea only managed to earn a point after a 3-3 draw with Everton. Next, we saw Manchester United, title contenders losing to Aston Villa at home by a goal to nil.

Looks like this season is a turnaround.
The "Big Four" have somehow lost their vulnerability and other clubs are putting pressure towards earning the title.

The battle of the reds.

Liverpool vs Arsenal.

Live at 11.55pm tonight.

Adidas vs Nike.

A must watch game.

Take your picks :D

Over these couple of days, I have learned something.

It's not the amount of time that you have waited in to gain something, but it's the amount of effort you have willingly put in.

I thought otherwise for this particular matter.

Nevertheless, it's always good to know.

When you can't carry on, when the road's way too long, know that you're not alone.

It's December!

Okay let's recap on what happened the whole of last week.

The main thing was the trip to Hong Kong.

I left on the 27th and came back on the 30th of November night.

Since I have already been there 2 years ago, the scenery of Hong Kong was nothing new to me.

It was a free and easy trip there as we used a map and the help of public transports to get us around Hong Kong.

There were lots of walking involved but the irony is, you don't feed that tired or sweat non-stop.

Partly is because of the cooling weather there.
The breeze there is just so enjoyable.

And the public transports there are very convenient.

MTR (Mass Transit Railway) there can be said to be the reason why Hong Kong people can easily go about without driving.

However, the food there is rather expensive compare to Malaysia's.

Here you can get all sorts of food for a reasonable price.

There, you have to think twice before ordering something.

That's something different.

All in all it was an enjoyable trip.

Definitely a good way to relax the mind after much stress.

5th and 6th December.

Charity work were carried out during the weekends at the housing areas of Bandar Utama near BU4 school.

Organized by KRS, the main objective was to collect at least RM 2000 from washing cars of owners at their respective houses.

The fund collected would then be donated to WWF for charity.

There were a few volunteers also who helped out.

On the first day we started the ball rolling by approaching houses in BU4 areas, with each group working at different roads.

Zakirah, Way Wen and Brandon was in my group as we had to ring doorbells of each houses.

Once the owner answers, we had say our line to convince them into letting us wash his/her car(s).

Rather a tiring job to do.

By 12, we managed to wash 5 cars and collected roughly RM80++

Some were really kind to donate more (:

12-2pm was our lunch break and everyone cramped in MCD at Cineleisure as we all were given MCD vouchers.

And we celebrated Way Wen's birthday aka YuriWay. heh.

Resumed work after that and we started going from house to house, hoping to wash more cars.

On the second day, the same story continues.

This time we headed for the houses in BU3 since we already finished almost the whole of BU4.

Started washing both of Jeremy Tang's cars in the morning and his father was kind enough to donate RM50. :D

Crystal was like the tyre specialist and each time the car is driven after washing, she'll be like "oh man...the tyres" Haha.

We moved on washing other cars and by the time we reached the fourth car, the sun was seriously glaring.

Nevertheless, we had to endure washing the car under the hot sun as we are doing it for charity purpose.

Headed for lunch after that and resumed.

After lunch we began approaching houses in BU6 and BU7.

Washed cars till about 5.15pm + and we rested at the BU6 park while chatting there.

Nothing much after that. I reached home about 7pm.

Bicycles can be really handy when going from places to places :D

Memories of Pangkor 09' ™

Hey readers!

Okay, so this post will be about the Pangkor camp held recently.

Starting with the night before.

I spent almost 1 hour packing my essential stuffs to be brought to the camp.

As usual, I always leave my packing to the eleventh hour after much procrastinating.

Ended up sleeping at around 12 am plus due to some delay.

21.11.2009

Woke up around 6.45 that morning.

Ran through my checklist thoroughly one last time before leaving home for school.

The bus then left school at approximately 8am for the jetty at Lumut.

At first I thought the trip would take about 2 hours plus as predicted.

However, the bus trip from PJ to Lumut took 4 hours because the bus took some old way.

Imagine getting your ass sit for 4 hours. =0

Reached the jetty around 12 pm.

Had lunch at some mamak stall before boarding the ferry.

All I can say that transporting my bags from one place to another was a hessel.

Boarded the 2 pm ferry.

The view on the ferry was seriously nice.

The wind blowing due to the fast movement of the ferry felt like paradise.

It was even nicer than the wind from the air conditioner.

Finally we reached Raudhah Camp at Pangkor around 3 pm.

Started setting up tents and headed for some ice-breaking games.

Guess what camp name I got?

In conjuction with "Dawn Of Men" as the main theme for the camp, they named me Yahraghl D' Wolly. Haha.

Well, each member had their camp names of course.

And as for our team flag, it seriously looked wrong. :D

22.11.2009

Woke up early for warm-up exercises.

Had to jog to the nearby beach which is actually quite a distance.

Good for training stamina though.

At the beach was even tiring.

We had to run from one end to another on sand.

And with the sand part as a slope, it made things even harder.

Ate breakfast after that and we had some spare time to write our team song for the Malam Kebudayaan. :D

The next activity was the shoe game in which, the groups had to fight each other.

It was fun working together in that particular game of course.

Group 1 ended up as champions ;P

Amazing race.

One of the most interesting activity of the day, though the tasks given was a bit troublesome.

Digging the sand for an egg was almost impossible. :D

The obstacle course task was also fun it really trained us physically.

In the end, congratulations to Group 4 for emerging as champions for the amazing race (:

Followed by Group 2 and Group 1.

Group 3 was no where to be seen :D

At night, the activity held was nightwalk.

Gosh, it can be really scary up there.

Once the torchlight is switched off, there is no vision available.

It is almost as if I was blindfolded there.

Trust me, there wasn't even moonlight to lit up the path.

All in all, it was a good experience walking there.

23.11.2009

Everyone woke up at 7am and was exhausted due to the nightwalk held the night before.

Then we started jungle trekking, led by 2 people who stays at the campsite.

The journey initially was seriously tiring because we had to walk up the steep slope.

The first half and hour seemed forever.

The journey through midway was rather nice despite having to avoid thorns, leeches and mosquitoes. :0

Then came the downhill part.

It was rather steep when we had to slowly inch our way down. :0

At last after 3 hours we made our way out of the jungle and wa-la, we were on the road :D

In the evening there was a mini-telematch.

And it was free time for us to play at the beach.

Skipping to MK at night.

Each group had to perform a small sketch and a song or dance.

However, the limelight was on group 3 from my point of view as they pulled off a hilarious sketch.

With the theme Year One, they managed to entertain the crowd.

So, if you want to know how smart is Richard Lee Juan Sheng, you can always ask Justin Leong. :D

Woke up as usual in the morning.
The main activity for us that time was the cleaning up part.

Taking down tents and cleaning up the place took us roughly an hour plus

Then we had a closing ceremony just before lunch.

And it was bye bye to Pangkor.

It was then hello to another 4 hours in the bus back to school.

Hey readers :)

I'm here to do another short post.

Okay, the school days of 2009 has officially ended today.

Well, the form 1,2 and 3's were already off since last friday.

The form 4's however had to continue coming to school till yesterday.

But for today, only the prefects came to school to carry out duties in conjunction with the registration day for form 1's of 2010.

It wasn't that hectic as we thought as most of the schools had graduation.

Imagine 415 little kiddies coming to the school next year =0

I guess 1 class is going to be jam packed with students.

As for me, I felt as if my last day of school was already last friday together with the other forms.

Although so, I still continue going to school because I wanted to keep my perfect attendance for the year :D :D

Sounds weird eh? But I have the urge of doing so since long ago.

Coming to think of it, the year 2009 is soon going to be over.

I still remember entering my class for the first time at the start of the year.

Now, the last day of school has already reached.

Oh well, it's time to move on.

Even SPM has already started.

Good luck to the form 5's ! :D

Looking ahead, there's roughly 363 more days till SPM 2010.

The 3 digits look as if there is a lot of time left right?

But attending Mr. Sunny Yee's seminar yesterday, he made us realize that the 360 plus days are actually very short. Try counting by the number of seasons. =0

Heh.

I won't be around till the 21st of November.

This is because I'm heading for a camp allocated at Pangkor starting tomorrow which will last for 4 days and 3 nights.

I guess going for the experience is going to be worth a while.

Let's do it ! :D

All I ever see in the newspaper everyday is the number of new movies being released.

Believe it or not, I guess my last movie was way back in September.

I haven't even watched 2012 :(

Just a quick post about an event that took place in SMKBUD(4) yesterday.

Telematch.

It was an activity that was introduced by the senior badge of KRS members.

Soon, it became a tradition and became an annual activity for our school.

If you are wondering what is telematch all about, well it's mainly just an event full of fun games.

I had the chance to snap some pictures of the memorable day.

Good to say that it went smoothly despite the erratic weather.

Hey readers :)

This will officially be my first post of the month of November.

Although it's already the 10th of November, it's still never too late to make my first post :D

Hmm, let's see what has been going on last week and this week.

Had choir practices on Wednesday, Friday and Monday.

Surprisingly, the number of boys are decreasing in the team. =0

And as usual, the number of girls are increasing. Inversely proportional I must say. Heh.

Oh, and our school had a trip to Genting Highlands for the 3rd consecutive time in 3 years.

The trip involved many form 3's and form 4's.

Come to think of it, Genting Highlands should be thankful for receiving business from our school almost every year. Haha.

Went for futsal again on last Saturday.

Playing futsal at the Taman Tun Community hall is definitely nice and much more convenient compared to the futsal court at OU.

The rate per hour is way cheaper and we get to breathe in the fresh air from the surrounding!

The only thing is, it's open air. Heh. So bare the risk of raindrops and blasting the ball out of the court.

Unfortunately playing there last Saturday was a torture.

The scorching sun made me energy-less and i just sat down there laughing like a noob =.=

All in all, there will be roughly 1 more week of school left.

Then we shall call it a year and a new year of school awaits us.

Time flies, yes?

I still remember myself taking PMR results a year ago.

Now, it's already November 2009.

Fascinating. Haha.

To the form 1,2 and 3, good for you guys that this is your last week of school. :D

Well, what can I say about Liverpool again?

Looking at their form makes me want to stop being a fan of them.

But to me, once a Kop, forever a Kop.

They were indeed very lucky to salvage a point from yesterday's match at home against Birmingham.

Replays showed that the penalty wasn't supposed to be rewarded after all.

Hopes on them to win the upcoming matches. The least they need is to get their team morality right.

I understand your situation very much.

It's like between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Nevertheless, it has already passed and whatever the consequences are, face it boldly.

Just a quick post.

Tsk tsk tsk. I have known you for so long.

God knows what you did and you know for yourself what you did.

Trying to be a hypocrite won't get you any further, you know?

You should know that whatever you have said and done will be proven.

Truth will be prevailed and justice will be serve, from what I believe. From what anyone will believe.

I'm just playing my part as a person with principles. I'm sure you know that, eh?

Fingers are at me, but I couldn't care less. Why? Cause I know the truth.

Go ahead, say things about me or badmouth about me.

As long as I know for myself what am I doing.

I hope everyone respects me for my actions, for my thoughts and for my words of honesty.

Finally, when this thing ends, I know I have done my part.

I always stick to my principles.

I always remember what I have experienced.

Lying doesn't get you far, you should know that.

At the end, I believe in myself.
All I have to do now is to keep my head cool.

Hey readers!

I know, I know that my blog has been literally dead for the past 1 month or so.

It's true that I was on a hiatus and took a break from blogging due to my busy schedules.

Alright. So 1 months is going to pass in 2 more days, bringing a new month of November.

Well, my month of October has been an exam month.

I am glad that exams are finally just over after weeks and weeks of sitting for it.

Finally the spirit of freedom is high in the air, but for me, I'm sure that it won't last long :)

It'll soon be the time where we will all miss exams :D haha.

I'll be going for futsal tomorrow.
Gosh, it's been 2 weeks or more since I last had a game of football.

As I always say, it's good to exercise ;)

Well, talking about football, what can I say about Liverpool?

Their form has been erratic for the past month.

4 straight losses almost brought the whole team morality down the drain.

Thank goodness for a 2-0 win over the Red Devils, they managed to keep their title hopes alive.
Yet, they still showed that their form is still shaky with a 2-1 lost over Arsenal in the League Cup.

Kop fans, could this be our season?

Summing up the whole month of October, well it's just another month in this year.

I went to One Utama for 2 consecutive days just to relax.

Ended up playing counter strike and relived the wonderful moments playing it. Lol sounds gay.

Didn't have a chance to watch any movie though, as time didn't let somehow.

Any nice movies to watch? heh. And please, no recommendation of jennifer's body please. =.=

It's a Sunday and I'm once again updating this blog.

Okay.

Badminton yesterday was fun.

I got to exercise twice in two days. =D

Oh, and not to mention about the crazy moments during badminton.

I have no idea what was Royston doing :D

Liverpool's match this morning was indeed very intriguing.

I stayed up till 2.30 to watch the 5 goal thriller match.

Believe it or not, Liverpool took the lead thrice to win the game.

West Ham had twice equalised through horrendous defending by Liverpool.

In the end, thank goodness the Kop won to move to third in the table for now. =D

Hey people =)

Woooh. I am back to blogging after almost 2 week not typing here.

It'll be my first post for the month of September. Rather a late one though.

So, it's the start of the Raya holidays.

The holidays are coming in the right time for me.

I get to do the stuff I need to do and most importantly I need to catch up on my rest.

Like today, I had a 2 hour futsal session at the Taman Tun community hall.

It has been a while since I went for one after 3 months I suppose.

Tomorrow's agenda would be badminton :D

My guitar's progress has been going fine.

I spend lots of time practising it and each time I start holiding it, I can't seem to stop.

The joy of strumming. =.=

Hmm. Let's see. What has happened within this two weeks?

Well, in the world of football, we have heard about the controversy that happened to Adebayor.

He was banned for 3 games because of his act. However, there was an explanation later on which stated why he reacted in that way.

Ironic isn't it? Why would people want to do that?

Oh well.

Hey people =)

It's minutes to midnight by now.

Just a few more minutes to the last day of the month, which brings to yet another annual celebration.

Yes, 31st of August is so significant to all Malaysians as this is the day where we finally got our freedom.

It's the 52nd National Day that our country is going to celebrate.

31st of August 1957, to be exact that Malaysia managed to be an independent country.

The shouting of the word "Merdeka" 7 times was the moment to be remembered as it signified the freedom that our country achieved.

Our father of independence, Tunku Abdul Rahman was the real person behind to our country's success.

He led "Parti Perikatan" in search of independence with all his perseverance. He endured many hard times, including going to London just to discuss the terms for our independence.

Our country's independence is surely a special one as our country obtained freedom without any bloodshed, but by only using pen and paper.

Ah, the times where communists used to make our country a hulabaloo one.

They ruled streets by streets, making violence their number one friend.

The idea of communist was derived from Karl Marx and the idea then came to our country.

During that era of communist, people were living in nightmares.

All sorts of ways were carried out in order to curb the communists.

Although so, communists seemed to be so strong.

Entering the 21st century filled with achievements in the field of technology, thank goodness that our country is free from communist as well as British people.

Now as we are independent, Malaysia is striving towards perfection by obtaining achievements in our economy.

Soon, we will see Malaysia becoming one of the most famous country throughout the world. bak kata pepatah, "duduk sama rendah, berdiri sama tinggi"

So what are you all waiting for?

Let us celebrate our national day and relive the moments where our politicians managed to help our country achieve freedom.

This is the spirit of Malaysians and hopefully the spirit lasts forever.

31st August will forever be a special date to our country for it will and always be our national day.

This is definitely the moment for us, Malaysians to unite as one for the better, united we stand, divided we fall.

STC 2009 ™

Hey people =)

Yet again, here I am to update this blog after a week has passed.

It felt as if it was only the beginning of the holidays but as you know, time flies.

So, it's pretty much towards the end of the holidays already.

It's a good thing though. =D

28th August 2009.

This was the first time that the prefectorial board of SMKBUD(4) had a camp in school.

STC2009, otherwise know as Skills Training Course 2009 was a camp specially for the junior prefects to train their potential in the respective sections in our prefectorial board.

It was of course a major setback to the organizing form 4 crews as it rained rather heavily on friday morning itself.

Due to that, the official opening ceremony could not be done properlly.

Thank goodness that the rain eventually subsided and we could carry out the activites as planned.

The main activity on the day itself was Amazing Race, armed with a variety of tasks with the main objective of motivating the prefects.

Tasks that were included required the prefects to use their physical and mental ability as well as their patience.

True enough, the result was rather satisfying.

To the form 2 prefects, do remember the advice that we gave you during that night.

Remember, the motto, "being a prefect is about practising the perfect".

All in all, the camp was indeed a successful one.

Despite being a last minute plan, the organizing form 4 crew still showed their spirit in making the camp a fun and memorable one.

Congrats to us all. =D

As it is already the 29th August, the end of the month is approaching.

And the end of the month is our National Day.

Match Of The Day : Manchester United Vs Arsenal.

Catch it live at 17.15 UK time, 12.15 a.m. local time.

Arsenal has fallen to their first defeat of the season after a match that ended dramaticly at Old Trafford. It was a battle between the rivals as both sides aimed for a victory to secure a good start to the new season. Both teams went into this match with a good form; Manchester United trashing Wigan 5-0 in their previous game and Arsenal qualifying into the next stage of the UEFA Champions League with a 5-2 aggregate win over Celtic.

During the first half, the Red Devils didn't seem much of a threat to the Gunners. Arsenal had twice appealed for a penalty but the refferee didn't oblige, even after Darren Fletcher clearly brought Arshavin down in the penalty box. However, Arsenal got their reward barely a minute later. Andrei Arshavin proved his worth by unleashing a venomous strike out of no where into the back of the net. Even Ben Foster could not do anything to stop that strike.

Arsenal then had a glorious opportunity to put the game behind Manchester United's reach when Van Persie produced a near range shot; only Foster to produce a very good save.

Then the game came to it's turning point. The Red Devils finally produced a real threat minutes later. Arsenal's Almunia carelessly brought Rooney down in the penalty box, awarding Manchester United a precious opportunity to equalise. Rooney then stepped up to side-foot the ball into the back of the net, bringing the game to 1 all. Robin Van Persie on the other hand was indeed unlucky when his swerving free kick hit the crossbar. When things seemed to stay at 1-1, Manchester United was awarded a free kick outside of the box. Giggs took the resulting free kick and Abou Diaby of all players headed the ball into his own goal. In the late game saw Van Persie being unlucky again after his goal was disallowed. The own goal proved to be crucial at full time as Manchester United was gifted with all 3 points.

Liverpool also managed to bounce back from their horrifying defeat against Aston Villa after they edged Bolton 3-2. Bolton took the lead through Kevin Davies from a poor defended corner.

Luckily for Liverpool, new signing Glen Johnson helped to equalise when he unleashed an unstoppable low left-footed drive into the back of the net. After half-time, Liverpool again fell behind unexpectedly. Tamir Cohen was the right man at the right time to volley the ball into the net to bring the score to 2-1. Torres and co then started to produce shots which didn't manage to enter the net. However, a neat play between Kuyt and Torres managed to show the Kop fans a beautiful goal when Torres equalised for Liverpool. Yesterday was Campfire 2009.

So, I would like to congratulate the head of the campfire organisation team, Chow Man Him as well as his crew in making the event a successful one.

The opening ceremony was awesome as the flame that was lighted up signified the main element of the campfire.

The activies were hilarious and the sketches made by the teams were indeed very very enjoyable to watch.

*It seemed as if I managed to watch a real wedding, except in a funnier way* =D

Also, band performance by A.R.E was fascinating.

They performed songs such as Six Feet Under The Stars by All Time Low, Mamma Mia, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz and a song called Tonight.

Dance crew "The Fanatics" also managed to show their talent last night by performing a dance routine that awed almost everyone.

Once again, good job to the KRS organising crew!

The Barclays Premier League is back with new faces and hopefully a new winner in an exciting and intruguing season.

A season which many had been waiting for since the end of last season.

Could it be more drama that we are about to see?

Could it be the season with the most spectacular goal?

Well, we'll find that out at the end of the season.

Being a Liverpool fan, I am indeed hoping that the Reds can bring the trophy back to the Kop after a long period of time.

Hey people =)

Okay. So this will be my first post of the month, coming into the month of August.

Yesterday was the first of August 2009 whereby SMKBUD(4) had a very special and important event.

An event which involved all the prefects of this school as well as chinese educated students from almost all around the state.

This is our school's first chance to be given an opportunity to hold such a big event.

It was the 2nd annual of the Chinese Competition for the state level.

All I could say is that the prefects who came for yesterday's event really worked their socks off.

Running up and down to carry things for the preparation of the place was the most tiring thing to do for that event.

Well, even on Friday, the eve of the event, there were prefects who stayed back in the afternoon to move things.

Trust me, it was fun moving the VIP tents from one end of the assembly ground to the other. =D lol.

Our school was visited by almost 1200 students.

Seemed like an ordinary school day to me.

There were special performances by the 24 Season Drums as well as the school's very own cheerleading team, Blitzerz.

At once, it seemed fun to play the drums ;D

I also had a chance to snap some pictures of the big event for future review.

Once again, there were bigger cameras surrounding me. =0

Hey people =)

The month of July is finally coming to an end.

A month full of events that will always remain as a memory to me.

July.

One of the busiest month I have ever had.

First of all.

1. Cheer 2009.

-The cheerleaders and supporters of Blitzerz were indeed awesome to be able to be crowned champions.

2. An elegant and classic evening at One World Hotel (25th July 2009)

- Ah. Once again, thanks to all prefects of SMKBUD(4)

who made this dinner a succesful one.

I was given the honour to plan this dinner alongside with my commitee and I am indeed proud

that the dinner went smoothly.

Good job to The Crew of this dinner ;D

3. My sixteenth birthday (27th July 2009)

- Ahhh. Thanks to all the people who wished me on that day =D

And thanks to the form 4 prefects for giving me the wonderful surprise, as well as the giant

card. =D

4. Hari Kokurikulum 2009 (31st July 2009)

- The final event of the month.

This event ended in a disappointing yet meaningful one for me.

To all the marchers, CONGRATULATIONS I would like to wish you all. We did our best out

there in the battlefield.

Congrats to LiQi, Choong Yean and Su Jane also for obtaining the top 3 spot.

To my squad, I would also like to congratulate you all too for being supportive.

This would go down as a memorable day for the year.
Why? This is the first time that the Prefectorial Board of SMKBUD(4) held their annual function at night. It was the Prefects' Dinner at One World Hotel with the theme of -

AN ELEGANT & CLASSIC EVENING.

The prefects on that night were looking awesome with themselves dressing elegantly.

And I am pleased to say that the dinner went smoothly.

Therefore, I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to my mom for helping me, my dinner commitee for supporting me as well as other prefects for attending the dinner!

Without the help of all prefects, the dinner wouldn't come about.

Well mainly, this post will be about Cheer 2009 which

is a remarkable event for everyone in SMKBUD(4).

Reason?

Our cheerleading team, BLITZERZ brought the title back to our school after all the hard efforts they put in. That marks the 10 years anniversary of the Cheer competition. History has been made.

"All our hard work and time we put in has paid off" - Zoe Chia, captain of the Blitzerz team.

Timothy Lim is back from Hong Kong!

I managed to hear about his experiences in Hong Kong and him speaking cantonese.

He said that a roti canai in Hong Kong costs 50 HK dollar. wth? lol.

And yea, he says I sms ppl about dinner. Haha.

I can tell you, sitting with timothy lim, wen qi and near stephanie chan was fun.

Stephanie shouts like mad person man. =0

She even starts calling teams weird names.

Wen qi? Well let's just say that she likes to laugh. Haha.

Taking care of bus 3 along side Sean and Timothy was also fun.

I gained a lot of experiences from there.

Taking care of the lower forms. Haha.

I felt like a tourguide on both days. Lol.

The atmosphere in the bus during the journey back from Bukit Jalil stadium yesterday was crazy.

We started singing like and tried to compete among ourselves.

And that's when lame jokes started to come in.

By the time the bus arrived at school, it was already

dark as the clock shows 7.30 pm.

The journey out of the stadium itself already took almost 20 minutes.

Then 26 of the AJK's went to 1u to celebrate after that.

Imagine 26 ppl in Blitzerz's shirt walking together in a shopping complex. Haha.

More like a publicity for our school ;D

Ended up going to Itallianese to eat dinner at 9pm.

I was super tired today in school.

Felt like I had no mood to do anything.

Thank goodness I managed to sleep for 2 hours plus

at home.

Time for a proper update.

Okay.

I finally had my chance to watch Transformers 2 on Saturday with my friends after longing to watch the movie way back since the trailer was out.

There were approximately 30 of us occupying 2 rows of seat in the cinema.

More like a tour group. Haha.

Anyways it was fun watching with them.

1 word for the show.

Maginificent.

The storyline was awesome.

The effects were great.

The music used was nice.

And most importantly, the scenes. *ahem*. lol.

It's the last day of June tomorrow!

Wow. Time flies eh?

I just remembered entering the month of June during the holidays and now, wooo, there's another day in the month left.

The month of July is coming ahead. I welcome it with full of hopes. Haha =D.

Cheer 2009 is going to be held on this coming Saturday and Sunday!

Hey people =)

It's my 2nd post for the month!

Yea my number of posts are becoming less by the month.
Haha. I just feel lazy to blog.

In fact, I am lazy to type my username and password to blog.

Maybe that's the main reason. Lol.

Today will be the last day of the holidays for the mid-term break.

Which means, school is reopening tomorrow!

After 2 weeks of relaxing and enjoying myself, I will see myself going back to my busy schedule =)

Did I mention that last sunday was the day I realised something?

You see, I went to 1 utama last sunday to have a chance to see Linda Chung Ka Yan and Raymond Lam Fung live in person.

Trust me, they look really good in real person compared to them acting in cantonese dramas.

Gosh the fans there were crazy.

Till the extend of some people start pushing each other like mad although they can't even see the stage. =.=

Of course, I didn't give in to those people.

Talking about celebrities, I was shocked to see money being splurged just like that in the world of football.

I am sure many has heard the transfer saga of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka both to Real Madrid for some serious amount of money.

Imagine £80m being spent on Ronaldo and £63m on Kaka.

Imagine the number of iPhones you can buy with that total amount of money.

Imagine the number of houses you can buy with that total amount of money.

I wonder if that does help the global economic crisis. o.0

Well, I spent the rest of my 2nd week of holidays by going for practice, badminton and facing the computer.

Now I am glad that school is reopening. =)

Hey people =)

It's the start of the mid-term holidays.

2 weeks of holiday after almost 4-5 months of school.

Yay. Or should I say crap?

Well. Personally, every holiday to me can be a boring one.

Reason? I have nothing better to do. Always end up doing the same routine everyday.

Eat, sleep, play. Yeap. That's about it.

I seriously do need to spend my holidays in a productive manner.

On the other hand. During these 2 weeks, I can relax.

And maybe I could catch up with my sleep as I sleep late everyday. o.0

Haha. Probably not. Come on, it's the holidays! who wouldn't sleep late. Lol.

Teacher's Day celebration was yesterday and also the last day for the term.

It was a rather fun and nice day.

I got to use walkie-talkie for the first time. Yeah, it was fun communicating through it.

Then the class celebration where I went to 3 matahari and enjoyed some music.

Also, it was Miss Tricia's last day as a temporary teacher in this school. Lol.

Apparently, she's out of her mind. =D

So yea, that was yesterday.

Moving on to today.

I woke up rather early today and started watching television.

Then I used the comp as usual.

And yea, most of my MSN contacts seem to be offline although it's the holidays. o.0?

Ended up playing CS and stoning in front of the comp before finally decided to play the piano.

And now. I am watching the FA CUP finall match between Everton and Chelsea.

Chelsea unfortunately took the lead after Frank Lampard fired the blues into the lead with an unstoppable left-footed drive. They lift the cup once again by winning Everton 2-1.

Looks like another season of football has just ended.

Have to wait till August where the new season starts with fresh teams, fresh faces, new jerseys, and most importantly, a new winner.

The 08/09 season of the Barclays Premier League football is coming to an end with 1 game left to be played by all the teams.

As we all know that Manchester United have won their 3rd consecutive title, the main focus for the final game of the season would be at the bottom of the table. Why?

It's about the fight to avoid relegation of course!

Hull, Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland all desperately need a win to maintain their place in next season's top flight football. Who will be relegated? We'll see about it.

I am seriously lacking of sleep nowadays. =/

Hopefully, I will learn from my mistakes. Once bitten, twice shy.

I woke up later than usual on that day and I reached school late, which made me miss the opening part of the camp.

Nevermind about that. Then, the members were divided into 6 groups with an AJK as a babysitter. So yea, each group had their own na

mes, claps and etc.

After that, they pitched up their tents and proceeded to class for first aid learning.

Meanwhile, I joined the bengkel to be a busyb

ody. =)

At around 2 pm, the ''Teamwork Race'' involving all the probates started.

Their first task was to come and find me in some place to receive their next task.

There were 12 tasks altogether but they only managed to finish till the 9th or 10th as time was running out.

All in all, the bengkel was a successful one.

I went back to the camp and helped.

By that time, they were having their blindfolded walk.

Dinner was next and then, MK!

Each group had their own sketch title to perform during MK.

And we AJK's planned a random dance.

The sketches were counted good enough as they were only told about their performances 2 hours before the MK.

For the closing ceremony of the MK, it was our dance.

Super lame. All were last minute plannings.

After that, we had a campfire where we sang songs.

Then it was OBH.

Well, I have no comments about it.

Finished everything at about 12 plus and finally I had a chance to bathe.

Imagine flour stucked on my hair for 9 hours. Wow.

I couldn't sleep till 3 something where I finally dozed off in the tempat rehat.

Sunday, 26th April

Woke up at 6.30 am.

Apparently, I was the only AJK who woke up late. ==

We had our morning exercise which included jogging and marching.

Breakfast was next and the members got ready f

or their test.

Okay. Skipping to the closing ceremony where everyone helped in cleaning the school compound.

At around 3 plus, the members wrote their feedback and they went home.

In overall, the camp went smoothly. =)

I however went to school the next day with myself very sleepy, groggy and tired.

I managed to survive through the day though. Heh.

Oh yea, there was a choir competition today held in the Yuk Chai school.

The choir members of our school looked good with prefect's uniform on.

They left for the competition at 10.30 am and came back very much later in the afternoon.

They were runner's up this year again with Damansara Jaya winning the competition.

Congrats to all.

Maryam came back to school today!

It's been awhile since I saw her.

Well, its good to know that she's doing fine. =)

I was motivated today with some motivational talk held in school today.

Now I understand.

Next thing, I won't be around this weekend.

I will be at a camp in school for 2 days over the weekends.

Which means no football, but camp life.

It's been a week since an update.

Reason?

I have no idea what to blog about.

Well, at least now I have something to type here.

First of all.

FAREWELL TIMOTHY LIM.

It's sad to hear you leaving this school and migrating to Hong Kong.

And yea, for his farewell, his friends asked me to bring balloons. They wanted to throw water balloons at him.

Anyways, all the best!

The KRS had their pertauliahan camp over the weekends and just ended this afternoon.

I had a chance to watch their malam kebudayaan yesterday night.

Their sketches and songs were equally good as they were given only a week to prepare them.

The funniest of all was Man Him's group. Ben 10. Haha.

There was no pictures taken, unfortunately.

And congrats to those who got their lance coperal post.

I feel so lethargic nowadays.

It's almost every afternoon that I need a nap.

But if I do take a nap, I have no idea how long will I doze off. =.=

The alarm clock never seems to work. Haha.

Tennis is finally starting tomorrow. =)

Moving on to the next post.

Thursday.

I went to KDU College for the hospitality race held there.

My group had me, sheng hao and ben wei.

Our school sent 4 groups, including mine, with hopes of bringing back the trophy for a year.

Before the race, we knew that we were going to be tested mentally and physically.

It was indeed true when they had 12 various tasks waiting to be completed.

Task 1 - Find 3 pieces and attach them together.

Task 2 - Translate the given codes.

Task 3 - Name and draw countries by their respective cities.

Task 4 - Filling a bottle of water by using strings attached to another bottle.

Task 5 - Finding 3 important headlines in a newspaper article.

Task 6 - Crossword puzzle.

Task 7 - Carrying and balancing 10 bottles on a tray

Task 8 - Perform a 10 second cheer routine.

Task 9 - Make salad, soya bean cincau and finish them up.

Task 10 - Tidy up a hotel bed based on a given example in 1 minute 30 seconds.

Task 11 - Table arranging.

Task 12 - Blindfold game.

This hospitality race was definitely fun and worthwhile.

Gained so much knowledge from here.

Especially things that got to do with foreign language.

Example. What's milk in French?

Haha.

However, the crossword puzzle was the task that slowed us down although we were allowed to use the internet for reference.

The cheer routine was plain random. I mean, who would have predicted it?

Task 10 = -.-"

All in all, my group managed to reach the 10th task.

By that time, Tan Juan's group and Boon Lee's group already got 2nd and 3rd placing respectively. Shahriman's group on the other hand got 7th place.

My group got 9th placing, I think.

To Chern Yao and Jen Yin, congrats for winning 3rd place in the Power Chef Cooking Competition.

I had school as usual today.

It was like 2 in 1 as it was a replacement for the upcoming Hari Raya Puasa, and also a day for the Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang.

I had 2 things to do today.

Firstly, I was given the chance to receive my certificate for my PMR results.

Secondly, I was given a chance to perform in the choir team for the first time.

And today also marked another memorable day.

It's Maryam's last day in this school.

She's leaving this school in her pursue of furthering her studies in a boarding school.

We've known each other since primary and now, I can't believe that I have to say goodbye to her.

Well, all I can do is to support her and wish her good luck.

Football update.

A brace from Torres, a superb long range effort from Agger and a headed goal by N'Gog were enough to give Liverpool a well-deserved 4-0 win over Blackburn earlier just now. The win moves Liverpool to the top of the table, putting pressure on rivals Manchester United who is currently leading Sunderland 1-0 at half time.

Sometimes I wonder. The irony exists amongst us.

Your perception of things change when you realise something.

Something worth asking why.

Something that I will learn from.

I need to keep up the effort!

Hey people =)

Wooh.

It's been awhile since i last updated my blog.

Sorry for the lack of updates.

I was pretty busy with for the past week.

Nevertheless, I am going to post an update now.

Starting with last Saturday, which was two days ago.

I went to 1u with my friends for a lunch buffet at Shogun.

Wow. I was really prepared for it, having not eaten my breakfast in order to lunch with an empty stomach.

I couldn't remember when was my last time eating there but I sure know that each time I went in, I came out with a bloated stomach. ;D

Every bite was worth money. Haha.

FAMILY DAY (Ola Kahana) was held yesterday at the central park, Bandar Utama.

I had to wake up early on a Sunday and rushed to reach there by 7.20 am.

The reason was because I set up a stall for the prefects selling drinks, foods and games.

Imagine the heat on that day.

Barely even 8 am, I was sweating like mad, trying to organise stuffs.

Then, the crowd started coming.

My friends and I were shouting to get people's attraction so that they would buy our drinks and foods. ''Tau fu fa! tau cheong !''

Yeap, I sold tau fu fa, soya bean, rojak and some octopus satay sticks.

I went around marketing and telling everyone about the free deliveries that our stall offers.

Although so, I was quite disappointed with the amount of people that came yesterday.

Compared to the carnival that was held in school 2 years ago, this family day is not as good.

And yea, it rained heavily at 1 pm, which was supposed to be the peak time where families started coming in to purchase stuffs.

The erratic weather definately caused some stalls to close early and so, many went back at that moment.

In the end, it was really a good experience doing marketing and promoting stuffs to people.

Now I know that selling things ain't easy.

Anyways, GOOD JOB TRIXXON for organising that eventful day.

Today.

I woke up with thoughts about later on.

I had to demonstrate a few experiments during the official assembly in conjuction with the Maths and Science week.

For the opening ceremony, I had to light up a smoke bomb.

However, it took ages to burn it as the substance had absorb water. lol.

Then the experiments went well as planned.

So, I would like to thank Miss Tricia and Mr Long for guiding us through this experiments. =)

Hey people =)

The history was made.

The day that most people talked about.

The day that everyone worked hard for.

Sport Day 2009 started off brightly with all 4 houses showing great spirits and enthusiasm.

Supporters came to support their respective houses with hopes of winning the title this year.

Yellow House with music as their theme, Blue House having clowns as their theme, Green House

with fairy tales and Red House adopting toy story as their theme.

Each houses had their mascots that were very fascinating.

Marching was the first event on the list, followed by cheerleading and formation.

Then the track events continued on.

All 4 marching squads did their very best on that day, applying everything that they have learned and worked hard for it.

The formations demonstrated by all houses were indeed jaw-dropping.

All the marchers showed high spirit and tried their best to make their respective houses proud despite having to bare with the puddles of water and mud in the field.

In the end, the formations carried out really did amuse the audience.

The atmosphere on that day really showed how united the students were.

Cheering for each other was the key to victory.

Encouragement here there and everywhere.

Laughter, happiness, and joy that filled the air really potray the exciting day.

Finally the moments of truth came.

The results and prize giving ceremony - just the moment everyone was waiting for.

Imagine the tense and anxiousness that everyone was having at that very moment.

The results were :

Since that moment, the atmosphere changed.

Some shed tears of joy, some were upset and disappointed while some were having triumph.

Then hands were shaken while members from Yellow House were still on ecstasy after their win.

As a part of the marching squad and a member of Yellow House, I am really proud of my house.

Words can't describe much but deep in my heart, the feeling to be champions again was great.

With this, I would like to thank all houses and fellow members for their support and encouragement.

OMG (Oh My Green)'s formation was superb. Red's mascot was awesome. Blue's drum beat was rocking.

And to other members of the marching squad, congratulations as we did our best.

To the cheerleaders, you all were awesome =D

To the runners, great job.

Thank you Nicola, Kar Mun and Pui Shan. You all deserve the win for your efforts and support.

In the end, it's accomplished.

The history was recorded and it would be remembered for a long time.

Good Job to everyone.

Hey people =)

It's the 4th day of school holiday.

How's my holiday going so far?

Well, the same old routine repeats itself.

-Wake up late in the morning.

-Read newspaper.

-Watch television.
-Play computer.

-Do homework which includes moral project.

And crap. I am procrastinating. =.=

I decided to go jogging at the bu6 park today to enjoy the fresh air.

Went with XianQi, Justin, Aiman and Felix.

Felix brought his camera again which fascinated me to take pictures.
I jogged a few rounds and after that cycled a few rounds at the park before heading home.
Ahh. The joy of cycling while enjoying the breeze =D

Lots of things will be sold; ranging from foods to drinks.

Best of all, buy anything you see =D

2. EARTH HOUR.

Date : 28th March 2009 (next Saturday)

Time: 8.30pm to 9.30pm.

Purpose : Save our planet.

Earth Hour! Lets show our love to the our planet by switching off lights during that 1 hour! =)

Hey people =)

Wow. It's been 1 week since I updated this blog.

Nevermind about that and I shall move on.

Firstly, my blog turns 1 YEAR OLD on the 11th of March 2009.

However, I didn't blog on that day.

And, I might change the link of this blog as well as the layout.

Time for a fresh new look ;D

I went for a movie yesterday for the first time this year after school.

I had to go for marching first before running to 1 Utama for the movie.

The movie started at 2 pm and I left school 15 mins before it.

How? Run lo.

The movie was Race To The Witchmountain.

Rather okay show in my opinion.

It was funny and yet boring at some parts.

The story was intriguing also.

Today.

There was a course called ''Kursus Kepimpinan Sehari" held in school.

And I had to attend it although I was hesitating.

Initially, the course supposed to be 8 hours. But it turned up to be 6 hours =)

Quite useful though. I learned new things through there.

Besides, I was fascinated with Felix's camera and Adrian's super huge camera.

THE CLASH OF THE REDS.

It is just hours before the kickoff at Old Trafford, Manchester.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS LIVERPOOL.

What an intensifying match.

This match could decide who will win the title this season.

Kickoff at 8.45pm on ESPN.

Cheers and jeers at the theater of dreams sounded as a crucial game was brought to an end. It was the match of Manchester United vs Liverpool that got the attention from almost every football fan in the world. Liverpool, who completed the rout against Real Madrid in midweek went into this game with high hopes, hoping to close the gap between Manchester United. However, minutes before kickoff, Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez had no choice but to replace injured Arbeloa with Hyypia. To make things worse, Manchester United dominated the first starting 20 minutes of the first half with attempts from Rooney and Park Ji Sung. The Red Devils finally got the breakthrough with a penalty earned by Park after a reckless challenge by Pepe Reina. Ronaldo stepped up to take the responsibility to convert the penalty and gave United the lead. Barely 5 minutes later, Liverpool equalised through Fernando Torres who took full advantage of a mistake made by Vidic. He kept his cool and slotted the ball past Van Der Sar to score. Soon, referee Alan Wiley had no choice but to point to the spot after Evra brought Steven Gerrard down. Gerrard earned the penalty and converted it cooly to give Liverpool the lead just before half time.

Second half resumed as Manchester United was trailing by a goal at home for the first time this season. The match was at its normal pace until the 76th minute when a real controversy happened. Vidic once again miscontrolled the ball which allowed Steven Gerrard to burst forward. However, Vidic tried to regain control of the ball and he made a reckless challenge on Gerrard from which earned him a red card. Aurelio stood up to take the resulting free kick and he curled the ball over the wall into the net with an awesome finish. And when the game looked far from over for Manchester United, Liverpool's Dossena added the icing onto the cake by lobbing the ball over Van Der Sar to make the score 4-1.

Good game I must say.

Hey people =)

Do you wonder why do I begin each post with a ''=)'' or otherwise, a smile? Well, do continue reading this post as I am going to blog about smiling.

The easiest way to make a good impression to others. It is by smiling of course. In this modern world, there are altogether too many long faces as if each day was a paycheck day while others just love to frown for no apparent reason. Don't you feel down seeing those faces? Especially when you are just about to get high, a person with a sulking face gets into your way. Indirectly, you will lose your mood to be happy and soon, maybe just maybe, a sad face appears.

A girl/woman might be beautiful in her appearance; dressing flamboyantly with all the precious jewelleries but her beautiness may be ephermal if she does not smile. Likewise, a smile means a lot to a person. Just a simple smile can make a person happy. Lets imagine a person facing the worst day of his life with his boss giving him piles of work while being under a lot of pressure. However, a smile on person's face along with words of encouragement can easily bring his confidence back. It's like shining a ray of light through the dark sky that is going to rain.

According to researches, it has been proven that smiling requires less muscles compared to frowning. Plus, smiling maintains the beauty of a person. Frowning like there's no tomorrow will only make a person look dull, monotonous and boring. Take for example this --> =.= or -.-. Although those expressions are creative and are favourite to many but think about the person receiving that expression whether it is in reality or the cyber world. Don't you feel irritated at times? Likewise, try comparing to this --> ''=D'' "=)" ":)" '';)'' ''xD'' or ''x)''. You feel warmed with happiness, don't you?

Action speaks louder than words. That is why smiling to a person does give a huge impact to them. Just a simple smile could mean ''hello'' or ''i like you''. Seeing a person smile does makes you feel happy. Take for example a baby and a situation. You walk into a clinic for your appointment with the doctor. To your sudden shock, you see the people waiting there all having glum faces. The atmosphere there is filled with negative energy as everyone is merely sitting down staring into midst-air without even saying a word while waiting for their turn. However, a person comes into the clinic with a baby and sits next to a person. Imagine how that can change the atmosphere. The baby starts putting on his/her happy, chubby and cute face for others to see. And for that, others will start to feel happy. It is like a chain reaction.

The same thing applies when we are at school or either at our work place. You can never win friends by showing them your dull face. Instead, by taking the initiative to smile to a person can easily create friendships. In fact, smiling can develop acquiaintanceships into friendships to make your life even interesting. Trust me, who wants to go near a person who does not even want to smile but instead showing a glum face throughout the day.

How about insincere smile? For that we can easily distinguish. Since we are already using up the muscles to put on a smiling face, why not put on a cheerful and hearty smile? That is the difference between a fake smile and a real smile.

So start each day with a smile. Smile to yourself while looking at the mirror when brushing your teeth. Tell yourself that today will be a happy day.

Remember, smiles and laughters are contagious. Smile and the whole world smiles with you. This is one of the most important principle for us to be happy. Develop a smile as your habit and who knows? You could possibly make the world a better place.

Terribly sorry for the lack of updates during last week.
I had exams, so I barely had time to use the comp.
And I missed my last post for February yesterday.

11th March 2008. Yup.
That was the date i made my very first post.

Slumdog Millionare.
Wow. That movie has received so many awards for it.
Although I haven't watch it, the story does sound interesting.
And the kids that starred in that movie could even walk on the red carpet at that young age.
Well good for them.

Moving on.
I am disappointed with myself last week.
Being careless is my main weakness.
Therefore, I really do need to be more careful.

FOOTBALL UPDATE

Gameweek 27 brought joy and sorrow to some teams.
In yesterday's english premier league match, 8 teams fought among each other to claim their 3 points. The match between Everton and West Brom was the earliest match played out.
Tim Cahill opened the scoring for the Toffees in the first half by heading home a free kick after a poor defending by West Brom. Louis Saha then doubled Everton's lead in the second half with a 20 yards left foot strike. What a brilliant finish by the French after he received the pass to turn away from the defender to score. The match ended with a deserved 2-0 win for Everton.

Arsenal continued their goal drought in the Barclays Premier League with another draw. Despite winning 1-0 against Roma in the UEFA CL, they couldn't bring their europe form in yesterday's match versus Fulham. Arsenal were the favourites in that match as Fulham did not even have an away win this season. Both sides had a glorious opportunity to break the deadlock in the first half as Andy Johnson's shot went just wide and Robin Van Persie's effort was saved. At the end of the match, the score remained at 0-0. Looks like Arsenal's hopes of clinching Champions League is fading away.

The match between Middlesbrough and Liverpool shared another similar story. This time, the 3 points were only picked up by a team. However, it was the home team that saw victory. Liverpool who edged Real Madrid 1-0 in Spain recently could do nothing to score past Middlesbrough yesterday. Obviously, Liverpool had not much of strikers to choose from as Torres is injured again and Keane was sold back to Tottenham. In the first half, the Reds looked as if they were close to breaking the deadlock but it was Middlesbrough who took the lead thanks to an own goal by Xabi Alonso with a Stuart Downing's corner. To make things worse, Liverpool went 2-0 down when Tuncay Sanli scored for the home team. The defeat for Liverpool definitely dented their hopes of lifitng the title this season and they are now 1 place behind Chelsea on goal difference.

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea were lucky to obtain all 3 points after they scored the winning goal in the 90th minute against Wigan. Terry opened the scoring for the Blues just after 25 minutes with a sublime left footed half volley. Wigan then equalised in the second half thanks to a wonderful cross for Kapo to tap in. When the game looked as if it would end as a draw, Lampard scored a vital goal to snatch a victory for Chelsea in the dying moments of the game. Chelsea are now second in the table, trailing Manchester United by 7 points.

CARLING CUP FINAL : Manchester United vs Tottenham.

MANCHESTER UNITED yet again received another silverware after their estatic win over Tottenham Hotspurs in the Carling Cup final at Wembley. The Red Devils were definitely the favourites to lift the trophy as they have a good form recently. There were many chances in the first half. Gibson, Manchester United's youngster was very close to breaking the deadlock after his long drive went just wide. Ferdinand then tried his luck with a dipping volley but the ball ended up on top of the goal. In the second half, Aaron Lennon got his shot well saved by reserve keeper Ben Foster. Ronaldo on the other hand got booked for diving in the penalty box after a challenge on him. However, replays showed that there was contact and Ronaldo should have deserved a penalty. Nevertheless, the game went into extra time and once again, Ronaldo could have scored with a left footed shot; only for his effort to strike the post.

In the end, Manchester United won in the penalty shoot-out by 4 goals to 1. Obviously, Ben Foster was the hero of the night.

One week has passed since Valentine's Day.

Which means to say that this month is coming to an end already.

How fast eh?

Luckily, sports day is now postponed to the 28th of March.

And each individual house will have more time to prepare for the historic day.

I went back to school as usual today.

Had marching practice as well as choir practice.

Yea, I had to march first before singing.

Finally went home at 10 am.

I just feel lethargic and tired very easily nowadays.

Feels as if I am lackadaisical.

Lying down on the bed and my head touching the pillow feels so nice.

I could fall asleep anytime.

It's the fact that I am lacking of sleep due to my busy schedule.

One word - Stress.

Linkin Park - Valentine's Day.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY.

Though that day means nothing special to me.

As Timothy Lim says, its the S.A.D day. (Single Awareness Day)

But there was school.

And there was gotong-royong.

In the morning, I went for PJ for a while before heading for choir practice.

By that time, I stink -.-

Choir practice was quite fun.

All so pro. =)

Then I helped Alwin, Seong Hock, Zheng Hong, Tze Lim and others to paint mural on the walls.

It was like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. =D

I got the pics for Moral project ;)

And yeah, gotong-royong also.

However, we only painted 3 words.

Seriously exhausted yesterday.

I am back to blogging after a busy week.

My schedule was full till I could hardly find time to use the comp.

Yea. My older brother finally turns 19 today.

I had marching practice today from 8-10.

The squad is improving.

Good job guys.

Also, yellow house had practice for sukantara on thursday.

With the new event, "Lontar Cakera", this year's sports day is indeed very interesting. The best has yet to come. =)

Oh, and "Lontar Cakera'' was so fun.

Hey people =)

It's the second month of the year!

Which is also my first post of the month =)

I haven't had got a chance to update this blog thanks to my faulty internet. =.=

The internet suddenly went off on Wednesday in the afternoon.

And I thought that my modem was spoilt.

So my mom ended up buying a new modem but it was the same story as before.

There was still no internet since there was no DSL signal.

It all came to a conclusion; my phone line had problem.

True enough it was.

And I am glad that it is fixed now.

Try imagining 4 days without internet. Sien lo.

Phew.

School's reopening tomorrow after the CNY holidays.

What did I do during the CNY holidays?

1)Play

2)Eat

3)Sleep

4)Homework

5)Receive angpau =D

I also went to Nicole's open hse on Saturday.

To play cards of course ;)

And immediately after that, I had a reunion dinner with my relatives.

More of a farewell dinner for my cousin, Jason Fong who is leaving for Australia.

All the best to him.

I went to Royston's open hse.

But I still got work to do. 0.0

So I guess I will stop here.

It's the second day of Chinese New Year.

And yeah, I left for Ipoh today and came back later in the evening.

Took a day trip back to Ipoh to visit relatives and of course, to play cards. ~~

Reached there around 11 am and finally reached KL at 8 pm.

There was a horrendous jam on the journey back. -.- 3 hours in the car.

I had my reunion dinner yesterday night.
The tradition that has been carried on for years and years.
Good time for relatives to see each other.

Went to 1u just now to makan.
Yeap. Not many people were there as most people are currently celebrating chinese new year in their hometown.
Suprisingly, I still manage to met a few people I know =)

Oh and I will be going back to Ipoh tomorrow for a day trip.
Just going to visit some relatives.

Another Contradiction ™

Hey people =)

It has been a week since new year.

And the first week of school has passed.

Yup, my busy schedule resumes back to it's normal pace.

And today, the biggest contradiction happened.

Guess what.

There will be no PJ for the first, second and fourth week of the month. WTH? -.-

According to the PPD, students are required to stay in the classroom to study PJK and are only allowed to go to the field on the 3rd week of every month.

Now, the contradiction happens.

Aren't we encourage to exercise?

And now we can't =.=

Seriously, it feels so lethargic not getting to exercise especially in the morning. -.-

Okay moving on.

Registration for koko thing was held today.

Everything was practically full wei.

Especially tennis.

Bengkel pengawas tomorrow morning.

Have to wake up early again.

But look on the brighter side, here comes another motivation course.

I just wonder why some people act in that way.

I am finally doing my 100th post! Yay ;)

Awesome right? *self praise* =P

Yup, i began my blog on the 11th March of 2008.

That was the time that I was inspired by certain people to actually start blogging.

But I was blogging mostly about football predictions that time and I was lazy to continue after that.

And what a name to choose for my blog URL =D

Took me 10 months to reach 100 posts since i don't update mine everyday.

Yea, and my blogging style is different from the first few posts.
